The three-week festive plan

What to make and when, without a shoot.

By Raunak Singh Bhogal. Published 18 September 2026, updated 26 September 2026.

The short version

What to make and when, without a shoot. Written for Diwali, which falls in early November, and reusable for any festive push.

Pick one offer

One festive offer, one line. Gift pack, bundle or discount. Every piece of creative will point at it, so decide it first.

Week three. One day.

Keep your colours

Add one festive accent to your own palette. Do not turn the whole brand gold and maroon. People should still know it is you in the feed.

Your ground colour stays. Add one warm accent.

One key visual

The product as the hero of one festive idea. Light, not clutter. If it has a diya, a rangoli and fireworks, it has no idea.

Week three. One idea, approved on one page.

The hero film

Ten to fifteen seconds built in motion from your real pack. No set to build, no shoot to schedule in the busiest month of the year.

Week two.

The gifting image

The bundle or gift pack, shown the way it arrives. Gifting buyers are buying how it looks when opened.

Week two. Needed for listings too.

Cut it everywhere

Ads, listing banner, stories, WhatsApp forward, email header. All from the film and the key visual.

Week one. Marketplace banners have early deadlines.

The day itself

A greeting that looks like your brand, not a template with your logo on it. Then a thank-you post and a plan for leftover stock.

Make both before the rush, schedule them.

Week three: decide

  • One offer, in one line
  • One festive accent colour added to your palette
  • One key visual idea, approved on one page
  • Marketplace banner deadlines checked

Week two: make

  • Hero film, 10 to 15 seconds, from the real pack
  • Gift pack or bundle image
  • Key visual in vertical, square and wide

Week one: cut and schedule

  • Six-second ad cut and two alternate openings
  • Listing banner and listing image
  • Stories, WhatsApp creative and email header
  • Festival-day greeting and the thank-you post, both scheduled

The mistake to avoid

Abandoning your brand colours for generic gold. A festive post should still be recognisable as yours with the logo covered.
