The business
Vaibhav Saxena is a psychologist with a master's in clinical psychology. He sees clients in person in Delhi NCR and online across India and internationally, under the name Honestly, Vaibhav.
The problem
Vaibhav came to the studio as a friend and asked for a website. There was nothing to build it on: no logo, no colours, no site, no content.
He wanted to do it properly and did not have the time to do it himself at the quality he wanted. He wanted someone who would do it with taste. So we suggested starting one step earlier, with the brand.
The idea
A door. The mark is a green arch with a maroon V standing in it. Anyone who needs help is walking through a door, and the first step is the hard one.
The website carries the same thought. It opens on the arch and asks you to scroll to come in. It says what a first session looks like in four small steps, because not knowing what happens is what stops most people. It talks the way he does, plainly.
How it was made
In this order: logo, brand system, identity, then the website. Two revision rounds. Live in seven to ten days.
The site asks for three things only: a message on WhatsApp, an enquiry by email, or a place on the community waitlist. The message form is written as a sentence you complete, and nothing is sent until you press the button.
Outcome
The practice has a name, a mark and a front door of its own. Since launch it has raised the value of the brand and the quality of the experience for his clients, from the first message.
Content is next, made by the studio in the same system.
