The short answer

In India in 2026, a basic 30-second 2D motion-graphics film starts around INR 8,000, a basic 60-second one runs about INR 15,000 to 25,000, and a mid-tier 60-second film runs INR 40,000 to 75,000. 3D product animation is quoted at roughly INR 75,000 to 1.7 lakh per minute, and INR 2 to 4 lakh per minute for photoreal work. Most product films are 10 to 30 seconds, not a minute, so read per-minute rates with that in mind.

Those ranges come from published third-party pricing guides and are for orientation only; they are not our prices. We quote every film as a fixed price, in writing, within a day of a brief. What follows is what sits behind any number you are quoted.

3D, per minute

Most product films are 10 to 30 seconds, not a minute.

What moves the price

Length. 2D or 3D. Whether your product has to be modelled from scratch. Custom sound. How many revision rounds.

Ask which of these the quote assumes.

What is usually extra

Voice-over, music licences, stock footage, extra formats and the editable source files. Ask before you sign, not after.

Extra formats are cheap early and costly late.

Rush costs more

Asking for it in under a week usually adds a rush fee. The work is the same, the studio's other clients are not.

Tell the studio the real deadline on day one.

Where it runs

Digital for a year is the normal licence. Television, outdoor and print are usually quoted on top.

Say where it will run. It changes the quote.

Compare like with like

Same length, same formats, same revision rounds, same usage. Otherwise you are comparing three different films.

Send every studio the same one-page brief.

Ask every studio

Seven questions from our film budget planner. The answers are what make two quotes comparable.

  1. What length and how many formats does this include?
  2. How many revision rounds, and what does an extra one cost?
  3. Is sound design included? Voice-over? Music licence?
  4. Do you model the product, or do I supply a 3D file?
  5. What usage is included: digital only, how long, which markets?
  6. Are source files included?
  7. What is the rush fee, and from what deadline?
